Benson Henderson to lead UFC card

A lightweight contest between former champion Benson Henderson and Rafael dos Anjos will headline a UFC Fight Night event on Aug. 23 in Tulsa, Okla.

The televised event will take place at BOK Center. The Tulsa World first reported the night's main event.

Henderson (21-3) is fresh off a fourth-round finish over Rustam Khabilov at a UFC Fight Night event on June 7. The submission victory was Henderson's first stoppage in the UFC. All eight of his previous victories had come via decision.

Fighting out of Glendale, Ariz., Henderson has suffered one defeat in the Octagon. He tapped to a first-round armbar against current champion Anthony Pettis last August.

Dos Anjos (21-7) also appeared on the UFC Fight Night card on June 7. The Brazilian lightweight earned a TKO finish over Jason High in the second round.

Winner of six of his last seven fights, Dos Anjos is 10-5 all time in the UFC. He strung together five consecutive wins from 2012 to 2013, before suffering a decision loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov to start his 2014 campaign.

This will mark the eighth time in a row Henderson will headline a UFC card.
