Four-time UFC title challenger Urijah Faber will fight Jimmie Rivera at UFC 203 on Sept. 10 in Cleveland.
UFC officials announced the bantamweight fight on Tuesday. UFC 203 will take place at Quicken Loans Arena. It will mark the first UFC event ever in the Cleveland area.
Faber (33-9) is coming off an unsuccessful bid for the 135-pound title against Dominick Cruz at UFC 199 on June 4. Faber, 37, lost to Cruz via unanimous decision.
A former WEC featherweight champion, Faber is now 9-5 all-time in the UFC, with four of those losses coming in title fights. He trains out of Team Alpha Male in Sacramento, California.
Rivera (19-1) is quickly gaining traction in the UFC. Fighting out of Ramsey, New Jersey, the 27-year-old is 3-0 since signing with the UFC last year, including wins against Pedro Munhoz and Iuri Alcantara.
A heavyweight title fight between Stipe Miocic (15-2) and Alistair Overeem (41-14) will headline UFC 203.
