Hey, welcome to Mohr Sports. We have a great show for you tonight following a great sports weekend. Tiger Woods won the U.S. Open out on long Island and Phil Mickelson choked. By the way, that joke was written Friday.
The Mets and Yankees got heated this weekend. Sean Estes threw at Roger Clemens and missed. He threw behind Rogers rear end. Estes said he wasn't trying to hit Roger. He just threw the ball where the catcher's mitt was. Yeah right. What would Mike Piazza's hand be doing near a guy's ass?
The WNBA is threatening to go on strike. Well there goes my fantasy team. What am I gonna do with my Mystics season tickets? Isn't that like Mariah Carey threatening to not make another movie?
That's gonna be one ugly picket line. These women should be grateful. What else are 6'5" women with bad posture gonna do for a living? Clean windmills? Haunt houses? Move to the woods and scare campers?
Dallas Maverick and Chinese national Wang Zhi Zhi has disappeared. And they think he might be trying to defect. Disappeared? He's a seven-foot Chinese guy. Look for the stretch Honda Civic. Hey Wang, from one Wang to another. If I was seven feet tall and wanted to disappear, I'd go to the Golden State Warriors.
Also, since we last spoke, my friends, the Lakers have three-peated and once again become the World Champions. Phil Jackson tied Red Auerbach for the most championships won by an NBA head coach with nine. Red isn't taking it very well. Hey, there's a celebrity boxing match for you. Phil could levitate around tthe ring like the Golden Child until Red Knocks him out with his 75-year-old man cigar breath.
Did you catch Jerry Buss at the post game celebration? Let me look at that again.
I didn't know Rip Taylor owned the Lakers. He was crying on TV. Maybe because the camera was too close to his toupee.
