PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Add a chip fracture to the right ankle to the list of injuries for Philadelphia 76ers superstar Allen Iverson.

Up to this point, a rotator cuff injury, a broken toe and elbow and shoulder ailments have hampered Iverson, but he continues to play through the injuries and has his team on the brink of advancing to the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Iverson suffered the chip fracture when Charlotte's David Wesley landed on his foot after taking a jump shot in the third quarter of Philadelphia's 81-76 win in Game 3 on Friday. He was 9-of-27 from the field and finished with 24 points.

Ironically, the Sixers were already without point guard Eric Snow due to a chip fracture of the right ankle.

Iverson is officially listed as day-to-day and Snow is questionable for tonight.

"Eric is by far our most important player," Sixers coach Larry Brown said after Friday's win. "In my mind, what he has to do on both ends of the court every single night is just incredible. We had a lot of guys step up and do a job in his absence. We will probably have to do it again."

The key to Philadelphia's win on Friday was the play of Theo Ratliff, Matt Geiger and Tyrone Hill, who helped shut down the Hornets' big men. Ratliff had 10 points, 11 rebounds and six blocked shots in 41 minutes, while Geiger and Hill combined for 15 points and 12 boards. Charlotte forward Anthony Mason was held to one point and missed all seven of his field goal attempts.

Iverson has struggled with his shooting since putting up a playoff career-high 40 points in Game 1. He has made just 14-of-48 shots over the last two games and realizes the importance of ending the series tonight.

"We don't want to play any team in their house," Iverson said. "We feel like we have the advantage being here. And we have to take advantage of it, because this is our crowd."

The Hornets squandered a seven-point third-quarter lead in Friday's loss.

Charlotte is looking to avert being ousted in the first round for the third time in five playoff appearances.

If the Hornets win tonight, Game 5 will be Thursday at Charlotte.
