Iverson is the NBA MVP

The results are in for this season's ESPN.com NBA postseason Fan Favorites.

We offered users a chance to tell us who they feel should take home the hardware for the NBA season. Check out the results for MVP, Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year and the best of each position, you might be surprised.

Our first poll was for MVP. The big man in the middle in L.A. was last season's winner and was ESPN.com users' preseason pick as the best in the league. Well, not so fast my friend. A little guard in Philly had a little something to say about that and users took notice. The Answer, Allen Iverson, takes home the postseason award after once again leading the league in scoring.

Check out each candidates statistics, what we had to say about each player and the poll results.

ESPN.com POLL

Shaquille O'Neal, Lakers
PPG REB ASST BLKS
28.7 12.7 3.7 2.76
Still the most dominant player in the league, but may have to battle own teammate for MVP.

Chris Webber, Kings
PPG REB BLK FG%
27.4 11.2 1.7 48.2
Elevated his game and made the Kings a serious contender in the West.

Allen Iverson, 76ers
PPG REB ASST 3PT%
31.1 3.8 4.6 32.0
He may be small but he put up huge numbers and made his team the best in the league.

Kevin Garnett, T-Wolves
PPG REB ASST BLKS
22.0 11.4 5.0 1.8
It's been a rollercoaster for the T-Wolves, but Garnett has been the model of consistency.

Tim Duncan, Spurs
PPG REB ASST BLKS
22.2 12.2 3.0 2.34
Despite a slow start recovering from injury, put up huge numbers as team rolled into playoffs.

Kobe Bryant, Lakers
PPG REB ASST STL
28.5 5.9 5.0 1.68
Has to battle Shaq for team MVP, let alone the league MVP. But has all the skill to win that battle.Late-season injuries may cost him the trophy.
