Warriors sign their three draft picks

OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Golden State Warriors have signed
their three 2001 draft picks, including No. 5 overall selection
Jason Richardson, general manager Garry St. Jean said Friday.
Richardson, a 6-foot-6, 220-pound sophomore guard from Michigan
State, led the Warriors' summer league team with 21 points per
game.
Also signed were Troy Murphy, a first team All-American selected
14th overall from Notre Dame, and Gilbert Arenas, the 31st overall
selection from Arizona.
Per team policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
