Finley

DALLAS -- Michael Finley's streak of 490 consecutive games played, the longest active streak in the NBA, ended Saturday when he was held out of Dallas' game Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks with a sore left hamstring.

Finley incurred the injury during Wednesday night's victory at San Antonio, then played a career-low three minutes before aggravating the hamstring in Thursday night's home win over Chicago.

The Mavericks said Finley is day to day.

Finley, Dallas' second-leading scorer with 20.9 points per game, hadn't missed a game in his six seasons. His streak of consecutive starts ends at 359, which was also the longest among active players.
