Jackson suspended two games without pay

ESPN.com news services

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Marc Jackson, who blasted Golden State management after a proposed trade to Phoenix was nixed on Friday, has been suspended for two games without pay for "conduct detrimental to the team."

"We regret that we are forced to take this action, but quite simply, such conduct cannot be overlooked or tolerated," general manager Garry St. Jean said in a statement released by the team.

The Warriors on Friday turned down an offer by Phoenix to acquire Jackson.

Jackson blasted the team afterward in a profanity-laced outburst, telling reporters "This is a stupid-(expletive) organization. They're a bunch of (double-expletive)."
