WASHINGTON -- To play or not to play another season, that is the question. Michael Jordan will likely make a decision soon on whether to suit up for the Washington Wizards next season, his longtime trainer Tim Grover told the Washington Post on Wednesday. "A decision is going to be made probably pretty soon -- maybe within the next two weeks," Grover told the newspaper. Jordan has not commented on his future since getting injured in April. He released a statement through the Wizards saying he would consider coming back next season. In his return to the court last season, Jordan was limited to 60 games because of injuries. When he did play, Jordan, now 39, averaged 22.9 points per game on 41.6 percent shooting. Jordan is a career 50 percent shooter from the field. After being a playoff contender most of the season, the Wizards dropped out of contention after Jordan had season-ending knee surgery. |
