NEW YORK -- New York Knicks center Kurt Thomas was fined $5,000 by the NBA on Wednesday for shoving Seattle forward Vladimir Radmanovic.

The contact occurred as the two teams walked off the court following New York's 97-80 win on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden.

Thomas shoved Radmanovic in the back. He said the Seattle forward hit him first.

"He gave me a little shot at the end, and I wanted him to know I didn't appreciate it -- whatever his name is,'' Thomas said following the game.
