Anticipating loss of Nesterovic, T-Wolves seek size

ESPN.com news services

The Indiana Pacers are discussing possibly trading forward/center Brad Miller to the Timberwolves, ESPN's David Aldridge has reported.

While nothing has been finalized, discussions have taken place.

With the imminent loss of Minnesota Timberwolves center Rasho Nesterovic to the San Antonio Spurs when the NBA free-agent signing season begnis at midnight, the Timberwolves are practically desperate to fill the void in the middle of their lineup. The T-Wolves are trying to acquire Miller as part of a sign-and-trade deal.

However, at the moment, the Pacers are only willing to trade forward Austin Croshere and guard/forward Ron Mercer to Minnesota for guard Terrell Brandon. Brandon makes $11 million per season and has not been healthy.
