Graber to be deported after serving sentence

LOS ANGELES -- A man who allegedly offered to kill the woman accusing Kobe Bryant of rape is going to prison.

Patrick Graber, 31, was sentenced in Los Angeles today to three years in prison.

Graber was arrested in September after Bryant's security staff reported receiving a letter from someone who claimed to have ties to the Russian mafia. The letter offered to solve Bryant's problem for $3 million.

Graber pleaded no contest to grand theft in April after prosecutors dropped several charges, including solicitation to commit murder.

Graber is from Switzerland and is expected to be deported after he's released from prison.

Bryant is accused of sexually assaulting the woman at a hotel near Vail, Colo. Bryant says the sex was consensual and has pleaded not guilty to felony sexual assault.
