Jaric sidelined; Langdon, Dickens signed

LOS ANGELES -- The Clippers exercised their fourth-year
contract option on forward Chris Wilcox and signed free agents
Trajan Langdon and Kaniel Dickens on Monday.

Also, guard Marko Jaric is expected to miss at least two weeks
because of a broken left thumb suffered during informal workouts
last month.

Wilcox is signed through the 2005-06 season, after which he will
become a restricted free agent. He was selected by the Clippers as
the eighth overall pick in the 2002 NBA draft.

He averaged 8.6 points and 4.7 rebounds in 65 games during his
rookie season.

Langdon, who starred at Duke with current teammates Elton Brand
and Corey Maggette, spent last season playing in Turkey. He
averaged 14.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 20 games for
Efes Pilsen. Langdon played in Italy the previous season.

Langdon previously played three seasons in the NBA after being
selected by Cleveland in the 1999 draft.

Dickens averaged 19 points and six rebounds playing most of last
season with the CBA's Dakota Wizards. He also played three games
with Portland on a 10-day contract.

The Clippers open training camp Tuesday in Santa Barbara.
