Fantasy Men's Basketball
News: 2 hours agoAntetokounmpo (rest) will not take the floor again Tuesday versus the Bulls, Chuck Swirsky of the Bulls Radio Network reports.
Spin: Antetokounmpo has little reason to overload during the preseason having played live in a competitive setting not too long ago in the Eurobasket tournament. The Bucks also have a back-to-back preseason set on the schedule, so he could be back on the floor Wednesday for the preseason finale versus the Nets before the regular season opens next Thursday against the Sixers.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Giannis set a new career-high in scoring last season at a fraction under 30 PPG, while maintaining all of the other contributions that make him one of the most valuable fantasy producers in the NBA. His role has been consistent for years, and at still only 27 years old, he is just now approaching his basketball peak. Giannis got his free throw percentage back up over 72 percent last season, a key improvement in category leagues, and he notched more than a 3-pointer, a steal and a block for the third straight season. Add in that he is among the league leaders in rebounds, and also among the league leaders in assists among non-guards, and Giannis enters this season once again as a consensus top-3 pick in fantasy drafts.
