Gordon's MRI good news for Bulls

CHICAGO -- Chicago Bulls star Ben Gordon is listed as day-to-day after an MRI confirmed he has a strained left hamstring.

Gordon was hurt Sunday in the second quarter of Game 4, but he was still able to score 22 points and hit a 3-pointer with 4.5 seconds left in the first overtime to keep the Bulls alive.

The Bulls beat the Celtics 121-118 in double overtime, tying the series 2-2. Game 5 is in Boston on Tuesday night.

Gordon injured the hamstring on a drive to the basket, and an MRI Monday morning confirmed the initial diagnosis.

Later in the game, the shooting guard was knocked to the floor on a hard foul by Glen Davis with 9.8 seconds left in the first overtime.

Gordon is the leading scorer in the series with 24.8 points per game and scored 42 in Chicago's 118-115 loss in Game 2.
