Butch Carter's name added to the list

 ESPN.com

With Tuesday's firing of Butch Carter adding to the list of available coaching jobs, we thought we'd take a look at who's gotten the ax (or been forced to resign) this offseason.

We'll leave the Warriors and Nuggets off this list because Garry St. Jean decided to stick to his GM duties in Golden State and let Dave Cowens lead the team next season, while Dan Issel -- although no move has yet been made -- could name a new coach and follow St. Jean's lead.

COACHES NOT RETURNING
Coach Team Record Skinny
Butch Carter Raptors 45-37 Angered players, management and league -- even angered Bob Knight; at least he likes himself
Lenny Wilkens Hawks 28-54 GM makes colossally bad trade. Team stinks. Wilkens gets blamed. Quality organization.
Don Casey Nets 31-51 Nets lose too many close ones, then drop last 11; team had too much talent to struggle like that
Lionel Hollins Grizzlies 18-42* Team should be improving more quickly, but is Big Country's weight problem Hollins' fault?
Jim Todd Clippers 4-33** Todd's record as coach seemed like good fit with this franchise
Darrell Walker Wizards 15-23*** Walker did decent job, but MJ wanted him in front office
*Lionel Hollins replaced Brian Hill 22 games into the season. The team went 4-18 under Hill.

**Jim Todd replaced Chris Ford 45 games into the season. The team went 11-34 under Ford.

***Darrell Walker replaced Gar Heard 44 games into the season. The team went 14-30 under Heard.
