Lamar Odom tops Google's list of most-searched terms in 2015

Google released its top search terms of 2015 on Wednesday and a former athlete topped the list.

Lamar Odom, who was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and rushed to a Las Vegas hospital in October, took the top spot. Odom woke up after a four-day coma with estranged wife Khloe Kardashian by his side.

Two other athletes made it into the top 10 most searched globally. UFC fighter Ronda Rousey was the eighth-most searched term worldwide, while Caitlyn Jenner -- known as Olympic gold-medal decathlete Bruce Jenner until April of this year -- placed ninth.

Rousey, Google reported, not only was the most-searched active athlete in the U.S. this year, but Holly Holm, the woman who beat her last month to claim the UFC bantamweight title, came in at No. 2. Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, boxer Manny Pacquiao and soccer player Alex Morgan rounded out the top five in U.S. searches in 2015.
