Porzingis practiced in full Friday. Coach Jeff Hornacek said afterward that Porzingis wasn't limited in practice and that he anticipated the third-year forward would play Saturday.
"He looked OK," Hornacek said.
Porzingis missed the Knicks' loss to the Orlando Magic on Wednesday due to a sprained left ankle and a contusion to his right elbow.
He told reporters that the elbow injury -- which Hornacek referred to as bursitis, or elbow inflammation -- is something he has experienced often. Porzingis suggested that he might have a minor surgical procedure in the offseason to prevent the injury from reoccurring. He said he suffered the ankle injury late in Tuesday's win over the Charlotte Hornets.
Porzingis, 22, is averaging 30 points per game and set a franchise record for most points through 10 games. He is shooting 51 percent from the field -- and 39 percent from 3-point range -- to go along with 7.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game. The Knicks (6-5) lost in Orlando without Porzingis but had won six of their previous seven with him in the lineup.
