Damian Lillard (hamstring) to miss second straight game Saturday

Portland Trail Blazers All-Star guard Damian Lillard missed Friday's game against the Denver Nuggets and will also sit out Saturday's matchup on the road with the Los Angeles Lakers because of a hamstring strain.

Lillard injured his hamstring during Wednesday's loss to the San Antonio Spurs. Sources said Lillard is hoping to return for the Blazers' home game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday.

A sixth-year guard, Lillard is averaging 25.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game this season.

Portland (16-16) lost 102-85 on Friday and has dropped six straight home games.
