OAKLAND, Calif. -- Golden State Warriors guard Patrick McCaw, who has been sidelined for almost two months with lumbosacral bone bruise, plans to return for Game 6 of the Western Conference finals against the Houston Rockets on Saturday, league sources told ESPN.
McCaw suffered the injury in a horrific fall that took place on March 31 in Sacramento. The 6-foot-6 guard was listed as out by the Warriors as recently as Friday but was upgraded to questionable Saturday afternoon.
Golden State, which trails 3-2 in the best-of-seven series, has lacked wing help against the Rockets playing small ball. Andre Iguodala, the team's best perimeter defender, missed Games 4 and 5 with a left lateral leg contusion and is questionable for Game 6.
The 22-year-old McCaw averaged 4.0 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 57 games this season.
