Ersan Ilyasova had surgery to repair a fractured nose Friday, the Milwaukee Bucks announced.

The veteran forward suffered the injury during practice Sunday in Milwaukee. There's optimism that he can return after roughly 10 days, a league source told ESPN.

Ilyasova, who will likely wear a face mask when he returns, did not travel with the team to Detroit for the Bucks' game Monday against the Pistons and is not with the team in Boston for the team's game Friday against the Celtics.

Ilyasova is averaging 7.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game off the bench for Milwaukee this season.
