Free-agent guard Ron Baker out 4-6 months after shoulder surgery

Free-agent guard Ron Baker underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder and is expected to make a full recovery in four to six months, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Dr. Neal Elattrache performed the procedure in Los Angeles.

Baker played with the Knicks and the Wizards this season. He was cut by the Knicks on Dec. 13 to make room for Allonzo Trier, then was picked up by the Wizards but cut two weeks later.
