STANFORD, Calif. -- Top-seeded Bea Bielik of Wake Forest easily advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA women's tennis tournament Wednesday, beating UCLA's Megan Bradley 6-1, 6-0. Bielik, a junior from Valley Stream, N.Y., will face North Carolina's Kate Pinchbeck, a 7-5, 6-3 winner over eighth-seeded Lauren Kalvaria of Stanford. Third-seeded Jessica Lehnhoff of Florida also advanced, beating Pennsylvania's Alice Pirsu 6-1, 6-2. Lehnhoff will play seventh-seeded Jewel Peterson of Southern California in the quarterfinals. Peterson beat UCLA's Sara Walker 6-3, 2-6, 6-2. In the other quarterfinals, Stanford's Erin Burdette will meet Arizona State's Adria Engel, and Stanford's Gabriela Lastra will face Tennessee's Vilmarie Castellvi. Burdette beat Florida's Lindsay Dawaf 6-2, 6-3; Engel defeated sixth-seeded Andrea Ondrisova of Virginia Commonwealth 1-6, 7-6 (4), 6-1; Lastra beat fifth-seeded Agata Cioroch of Georgia 6-0, 6-4; and Castellvi routed Fresno State's Chloe Carlotti 6-2, 6-0.
