New Names, Same Spartan Something

Joseph Forte
The ball bounced Charlie Bell & Co.'s way.
The ACC was just a little better than the Big Ten once again this year. But as statements go, No. 2 Michigan State made the biggest during the two-night affair. The new-look defending champions re-introduced themselves to the nation in a 77-64 victory over No. 6 North Carolina on Wednesday night. Get used to the new names. J.R., Charlie and Zach led the way against the Tar Heels. Oh, and ESPN.com's Andy Katz expects the Spartans to only get better as they become household names by March.
