Possibly the most versatile post player in this year's class, Randolph can score from all over the court. At 6-10, he can shoot three-pointers with the accuracy of a point guard, yet he is one of the best big men ever to come out of North Carolina. He was the first player since "Pistol" Pete Marevich to earn conference player of the year as a sophomore and he leaves Broughton as the all-time leader in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots. He has earned almost every major distinction over the past few years on the court, but off the hardwood, he is a four-year honor roll student. He is currently one of 10 finalists for the Naismith Award on April 5. Last year, he was named as the player of the year in North Carolina by USA Today after his junior year - one of only six underclassmen in the country to receive that honor in their respective state. One of four Duke recruits in this year's McDonald's All American Game. Back to boys roster. |
