Few could ask for a better high school career than J.J.'s at Cave Spring. Known as the best three-point specialist in the Class of 2002, he has hit over 40 percent from beyond the arc in his career. He is the school's all-time scoring leader with over 2,000 points. J.J. has been named to the all-state first team the past two years and he is a two-time regional and district player of the year. During the summer before his junior year, he helped lead the Boo Williams team to the AAU national championship and has been a two-time AAU first team all American. This past summer he also participated in the prestigious USA Basketball Olympic Festival this past summer. Off the court he has a 3.4 GPA. J.J. is one of four Duke recruits in this year's McDonald's All American Game.
