Brandon is one of the most explosive guards in the class of 2003. His exceptional quickness and first step makes him hard to defend. Although he is a terrific shooter and shooting guard is his best position, at only 6'0, he will most likely be running the offense at Michigan State next season. As a junior, Brandon averaged 28.5 points, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals a game while earning All-State and All-Detroit honors. Coach Izzo said, "What I really like about Brandon, however, is that he's played on a winning program and understands the commitment and sacrifice necessary to win." Brandon is lethal with a basketball and also displays excellent range on his jump shot. Brandon will join fellow McDonald's All American Shannon Brown at Michigan State next season.
