Deng and fellow teammate Charlie Villanueva made up possibly the best 1-2 punch in high school basketball this past season. Deng is consistently ranked as the No. 2 prep player in the country and was named to the USA Today Super 25 Basketball Team. Deng is a versatile player that can play up to four positions on the court. He is a dangerous passer that possesses great understanding of the game. Deng's unselfish play will fit right into Coach K's game plan at Duke. He is a three-time All New Jersey Prep State Team selection and a two time MVP of the MAPL tournament.
