Utah at Alabama, Monday: The Tide got a huge win over Memphis Wednesday and could use a few more brownie points with a non-conference win. Oregon at Massachusetts, Tuesday: The Ducks were impressive in disposing Louisville but can they take it on the road -- across the country? Butler at Purdue, Tuesday: The Bulldogs won the Top of the World Classic but that was on a neutral court. Beating Purdue in West Lafayette, Ind., would add a few more believers. Dayton at Cincinnati, Wednesday: The Bearcats dominated UNLV but the Flyers could be a dangerous out in what could be their biggest non-conference game of the season. Wyoming at Detroit, Wednesday: OK, now this is the type of game Steve McClain's Cowboys have to win to be considered tournament worthy. Kentucky vs. Kent in Cincinnati, Wednesday: Kent State got the preseason hype and then lost to Hofstra. Beating Kentucky would certainly give them credibility. Central Michigan at Oklahoma, Wednesday: Can the MAC upset bug continue? Arkansas at Tulsa, Wednesday: The Golden Hurricane gets a rare marquee home game to pull off an upset. Texas Tech at New Mexico State, Wednesday: Bob Knight vs. Lou Henson again? Somehow, this doesn't quite have the same impact as Indiana vs. Illinois. New Mexico at Cal, Wednesday: The Lobos missed two chances to pickup needed power points against Stanford and West Virginia at home. Here comes No. 3. Charlotte at Temple, Thursday: The Owls haven't played since going 0-2 in New York. The 49ers have the shooters to beat the zone. Cal at South Florida, Saturday: This is the kind of game the Bulls need to win for them to be taken seriously. Colorado at Georgia, Saturday: The Buffaloes need to win one of these marquee non-conference road games while Georgia will likely be without Jarvis Hayes. Stanford vs. Texas/DePaul vs. Notre Dame in Chicago, Saturday: The Cardinal highlight this doubleheader with their second straight trip to the Midwest. Notre Dame is quietly cruising through its schedule. Indiana at Southern Illinois, Saturday: The Hoosiers will be coming off a likely tight game at Carolina and facing the Salukis possibly without Jeffrey Newton (broken jaw). Kansas at Arizona, Saturday: The schedule doesn't get any easier for both teams and believe it or not but the Wildcats will be playing their first home game.
