NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Greg Zolman threw two touchdown passes and John Markham kicked four field goals as Vanderbilt beat Duke 26-7 on Saturday night. The Commodores (1-3) ended a six-game losing streak with their fourth straight victory over Duke (0-4). Zolman, 23-of-37 for 266 yards, threw a 13-yard TD pass to Jared McGrath in the second quarter and a 12-yarder to Dan Stricker with 35 seconds left in the half to give Vandy a 20-0 lead. Stricker caught 10 passes for 147 for his third straight 100-yard receiving game. Markham had a career-best 52-yard field goal and also connected from 29, 30 and 35 yards. Duke, which has scored 20 points in four games, gained only 79 yards in the first half and finished with 229. Vanderbilt had 440 yards of total offense. Duke avoided the shutout in the fourth quarter when Ryan Fowler intercepted Benji Walker's pass and returned it 37 yards to the Vanderbilt 38. Seven plays later, D. Bryant threw a 26-yard TD pass to Nic Hartofilis.
