Crouch Wins Heisman in Closest Race in Years

Eric Crouch
Nebraska QB Eric Crouch won the 2001 Heisman Trophy.
In the fourth closest voting in Heisman history, Nebraska's Eric Crouch edged Florida's Rex Grossman for the 2001 Heisman Trophy. Miami's Ken Dorsey placed third and Oregon's Joey Harrington fourth, marking just the third time in Heisman history that QBs finished 1-2-3 in the voting.

•  Awards histories: Heisman | O'Brien | Maxwell | Outland | Other offense | Other defense
•  ESPN.com's Heisman poll: Eric Crouch, Rex Grossman, Ken Dorsey are 1-2-3
•  Crouch wins Walter Camp Award | Dorsey wins Maxwell
