Offensive Minded
Coach Tom Amstutz celebrates Toledo's Motor City Bowl victory. This was nothing new for Toledo. The Rockets regularly fell behind during the season, so trailing by 10 points at the half didn't scare them. It should have scared Cincinnati. Chester Taylor rushed for a Motor City Bowl record 190 yards and Toledo rallied to the 23-16 win over the Bearcats in Detroit.

"MAC power, baby. The MAC goes 2-0 and just shows what an underrated conference it truly is. Chester Taylor is one of the best backs in the country and if he were in any of the "major conferences, he would have been talked about for the Heisman."

WITH ROD GILMORE
The second half played out exactly like Rece Davis, Mark May and I thought it would. We said Toledo has Cincinnati exactly where they wanted them when the Rockets went into the half trailing by 10 points. We said Toledo RB Chester Taylor needed to get the ball more in the second half and then we said Cincinnati wouldn't be able to hold the lead if they couldn't run.
So, what happens? Cincinnati couldn't run, Chester Taylor has a big second half and the Rockets rally to win the game. It played out just as we expected.Toledo deserved to win.
While some may say Cincinnati could have won, it's hard to criticize WR Ray Jackson for dropping that final pass in the endzone with 50 seconds left. The ball was tipped and makes it a very difficult catch. It was a great finish and the MAC finishes 2-0 in the bowl season.

IT WAS OVER WHEN
Cincinnati WR Ray Jackson bobbled a fourth down pass in the endzone with 50 seconds left to play. The pass was tipped by the Toledo secondary and sealed the comeback win.
GAME BALL GOES TO
Toledo's Chester Taylor. The running back rushed for a Motor City Bowl record 190 yards and the go-shead TD as the Rockets rallied from a 10-point deficit for the victory.

CINCINNATI CLUBHOUSE
The Bearcats knew they had to stop Toledo's Chester Taylor to have a chance at victory on Dec. 29 in the Motor City Bowl. It didn't happen, and as a result, they lost.
