"Don't go, William! Don't go! The NFL can wait. Really. Oh well, either way it was fun to watch him beat up on the Bulldogs. Thanks for the memories."

WITH ROD GILMORE

Georgia made monumental mistakes at the end of this game. Punting the ball away with 1:32 to go was bad decision. Predictably, they got the ball back with very little time left, a long field and no time outs -- they had no chance. It was a bad decision.

Suffering from the flu, Eagles RB William Green was clearly not himself -- he was chased down on a break away run and was sick on the sideline, but he came back in and had a phenomenal game under adverse circumstances. His biggest run was probably his fourth-and-one first-down pick up that led to B.C.'s go-ahead TD.

Give props to the Eagles defense. They dropped a lot of linebackers into coverage and forced QB David Green to be patient. Greene had trouble seeing the coverages, threw interceptions and had a couple others dropped. Not a good game from Greene.

Motivation is a key in bowl games and B.C. was incredibly motivated. Causing three turnovers in the first half, the Eagles took away the Bulldogs momentum early in the game.

IT WAS OVER WHEN
When Boston College's Doug Goodwin sacked Georgia QB David Greene as time expired setting off a wild celebration among Eagle players as they finally snapped their 21-game losing streak against ranked opponents.
GAME BALL GOES TO
BC running back William Green, who carried the Eagles to the win despite having the flu. He rushed for 149 yards and was named the Music City Bowl MVP.
