HONOLULU -- Texas quarterback Major Applewhite will have one more college game to play -- the Hula Bowl.

Applewhite will play in the Feb. 2 college All-Star game on Maui.

The senior quarterback rallied the Longhorns to a 47-43 victory over Washington on Friday night in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego.

Applewhite completed 37 of 55 passes for 473 yards, all career bests and all breaking his own school records. His four touchdown passes tied his career high.

Applewhite will join three teammates at the Hula Bowl -- offensive guard Antwan Kirk-Hughes, cornerback Ahmad Brooks and linebacker Tyrone Jones.
