They played the Game of the Century in 1971. And played another classic in 1987. After too long of a hiatus, the Oklahoma-Nebraska rivalry is finally back. Junior Eric Crouch runs the potent Nebraska offense that still dominates its opponents. Crouch, who nearly quit the team two years ago, has slowly grown into a leader for Nebraska. While it's hard to tell the difference between Nebraska's offense of today and 20 years ago, Oklahoma's offense has undergone a series of changes. Senior Josh Heupel leads Oklahoma's high powered offense and has OU back in the title hunt.
