This "jailbreak" screen is similar to the first one drawn in this week's series, with the change being that the ball is thrown to the X, or widest receiver, rather than the slot. This would imply that it is designed to be run against a corner who plays off, either in three deep zone, quarters, or soft man. True freshman QB Rex Grossman (8) will hope Auburn corner Larry Casher (24) plays a little gunshy since he was torched in the two teams' first encounter in October. If he does he will be ripe for the block of slot Reche Caldwell (17). The receiver on the play, fellow freshman Jabar Gaffney (10), must get inside Caldwell's block, and then read the blocks of linemen like tackle Mike Pearson (71), then rely on his remarkable speed to make yet another big play for the Gators.
