This is an excellent play to expoit the blitz IF (big if), and only IF, the offensive linemen stick the blitzers, Turelle Williams (41) and Ben Leber (52), stop them momentarily, and then release to their screen blocks. This allows QB Josh Heupel (14) the split second he needs to feather the ball to Slot Curtis Egan (12), who is heading toward him after faking the hitch. It is crucial that this pass be thrown behind the line of scrimmage (drawing is slightly off), so that linemen like OC Bubba Burcham (59) can legally block downfield while the ball is in the air.
