The Wildcats got the ball back with time only to throw a desperation pass that fell incomplete and well short of the end zone.Antwone Savage, who caught two touchdowns and threw for another. Petty threw the game-winning touchdown to tight end Rod Trafford with 2:18 left. His 27-yard pass to Derek Watson set up Watson's TD run that brought South Carolina to 36-30. The play made Brandon Hance's 17-yard touchdown pass to John Standeford the game-winner.Hance, who in his first Big Ten game, looked much like his predecessor -- Drew Brees. Hance threw three TD passes and caught a fourth touchdown pass. And even before his game-winner in OT, he was calm under pressure, driving Purdue 63 yards in 18 seconds to set up the game-tying field goal in regulation.
