Lady Techsters improve to 6-0 in Sun Belt RECAP | BOX SCORE

RUSTON, La. (Ticker) -- Cheryl Ford scored 24 points in 23
minutes and Amber Obaze and Kenya Bibbs added 16 points apiece
off the bench as eighth-ranked Louisiana Tech pounded Western
Kentucky, 105-47, in a Sun Belt Conference matchup.
Ayana Walker added 15 points and nine rebounds in 26 minutes for
Louisiana Tech (15-4, 6-0 Sun Belt). Ford made 8-of-12 shots
and Obaze 7-of-8 while Bibbs added eight rebounds in 18 minutes.
The Lady Techsters raced to a 53-16 lead after 20 minutes,
making 20-of-42 shots. Louisiana Tech committed just seven
turnovers while Western Kentucky had 21.
Natalie Powers scored 13 points and ShaRae Mansfield had 10 for
Western Kentucky (11-5, 5-1). The Lady Toppers made just
7-of-35 shots in the first half and 4-of-17 3-point attempts in
the contest.
Western Kentucky's starting five combined to commit 22
turnovers.
