Tigers win fourth in a row

CLEMSON, S.C. (Ticker) -- Chrissy Floyd scored 14 of her 21 points in the second half to propel No. 20 Clemson to its fourth straight win, a 79-66 victory over Atlantic Coast Conference foe Florida State.

Floyd shot 8-of-18 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the line to go with six assists and just one turnover in 38 minutes.

Julie Aderhold scored 10 points off the bench on 4-of-5 shooting and Marci Glenney added 12 points, seven assists and seven steals. Erin Batth struggled offensively, scoring just five points on 2-of-11 from the floor, but grabbed 13 rebounds.

Clemson (15-4, 6-2 ACC) dominated the first half and took a 38-25 lead into the second half. The Seminoles shot 40 percent (11-of-27), were 0-of-3 from behind the arc and went to the line just four times in the first half.

Florida State (11-6, 3-4) played well in the second half. It was led by April Taylor and Shinikki Whiting, who combined to score 27 points after halftime.

Taylor finished with 18 points and Whiting scored 15 for the Seminoles, who lost their third straight ACC game. Katelyn Vujas had 16 points and 14 rebounds and Brooke Wyckoff added 12, on 4-of-11 shooting.
