Douglas' late scoring keys Boilermakers

RECAP | BOX SCORE

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) -- Katie Douglas scored seven of her 24 points in overtime -- including the go-ahead three-point play -- and helped No. 6 Purdue win its 11th straight game, 75-70 against Wisconsin on Sunday.

Wisconsin led 70-68 when Douglas converted the three-point play to give the Boilermakers (19-3, 9-0 Big Ten) a 71-70 lead with 2:57 left.

That was the fifth foul on Stomski, who scored 14 points and had 10 rebounds.

Wisconsin (12-7, 6-3) was shutout from there as Douglas and Shereka Wright, who scored 14, sealed the win with free throws.

Purdue led 64-59 with a little more than two minutes left in the second half after a 3-pointer by Kelly Komara.

Wisconsin's LaTonya Sims made a 3-pointer and Tamara Moore's layup with a minute left evened the score at 64. Moore led the Badgers with 19 points and Sims added 14.

Purdue couldn't capitalize on several last-minute shots.

The Badgers led by six at halftime and continued to cling to the lead early in the second half. Shalicia Hurns converted a three-point play with 9:44 left to give Purdue a 50-49 lead. Nina Smith, who had scored 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting, fouled out on the play.

Sims hit a bank-shot 3-pointer as the Badgers regained the lead at 55-52. Douglas later added her third 3-pointer to put Purdue back ahead.
