BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- April Brown scored 17 points as LSU (No. 10 ESPN/USA Today, No. 11 AP) coasted to an easy 85-48 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette on Tuesday night.

It's been six years and 54 games since a non-SEC team has beaten LSU (15-4) at home.

Louisiana-Lafayette (6-13) didn't come close to threatening that mark, leaving the Ragin Cajuns 0-19 overall against LSU.

LSU outscored the Ragin Cajuns 15-5 over the first 4½ minutes of the game and never looked back. The Tigers led 42-25 at halftime and then steadily pulled away.

Marie Ferdinand had 21 points for LSU. Ke-Ke Tardy added 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Doneeka Hodges had 10 points and six assists.

The LSU women are 68-5 on their home court since the 1996-97 season.

Breanna Evans came off the bench to hit 4-of-4 3-point shots and scored 19 points for Louisiana-Lafayette.

Billie Popovska -- the Cajuns' leading scorer averaging over 19 points a game -- scored only five points against LSU.
