AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -- Center Carla Littleton blocked two shots, grabbed a key offensive rebound and scored in the final minute Wednesday night as Texas scored the final eight points of the game to defeat Colorado 65-62.

Littleton's rebound and basket gave Texas (16-6, 4-4 Big 12; No. 20 ESPN/USA Today, No. 21 Associated Press) a three-point cushion.

Colorado (14-5, 5-3; No. 23 Associated Press) had two chances to tie the game, but Jenny Roulier and Mandy Nightingale missed 3-pointers.

The Longhorns trailed 62-57 with 3:57 to play in the game before their 8-0 rally.

JoRuth Woods scored 20 points to lead Texas. Freshman Tera Bjorklund had 23 points for Colorado.
