Mazzante leads Lions with 18 points RECAP | BOX SCORE

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) -- Kelly Mazzante scored 18 points to
lead Penn State (No. 15 ESPN/USA Today; No. 16 Associated Press) to a 69-52 victory over Ohio State on
Thursday night.
Maren Walseth added 10 rebounds and 14 points for Penn State
(15-6, 7-3 Big Ten), including two layups in a 15-6 run that put
the Lions up 54-39 with 8:06 left.
The Buckeyes (13-6, 3-7) cut it to 55-45 with 6:31 left, but
another Penn State run put the game out of reach.
Lisa Shepherd added 13 points for the Lions, and Rashana
Barnes had 11. Courtney Coleman scored 17 for Ohio State, and
Tomeka Brown had 12.
