RECAP
KEY TO THE GAME:

While some thought this might be a defensive struggle -- both schools are among the nation's top seven in scoring defense -- Rutgers had no problem scoring on the Lumberjacks. Tammy Sutton-Brown had a career-best 25 points and the Scarlet Knights scored 80 on a defense that allowed just 54.4 points a game this season.

GAME BALL GOES TO:

Rutgers' Tasha Pointer set an NCAA women's tournament record with 18 assists. Pointer's 18 assists broke the women's record of 17 set twice by Suzie McConnell of Penn State in the 1980s and matched by Melinda Schmucker of Texas Tech against Grambling on Mar. 13, 1998.

WHAT'S NEXT:

(4) Rutgers plays (5) Southwest Missouri State on Monday.
