McInelly twice Big Sky coach of the year

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- The former head coach at Idaho
State University was named coach of the women's basketball team at
the Air Force Academy on Thursday.
Ardie McInelly coached Idaho State for five years, taking the
team to the Big Sky Conference tournament four times.
She replaces Sue Darling, who was fired after going 3-24 last
season and 12-70 over three years.
McInelly's Idaho State team was 25-5, 18-0 in the Big Sky, last
season and played in the NCAA Tournament. The team
lost in the first round to No. 10 Vanderbilt, 83-57.
McInelly was named Big Sky Conference Coach of the Year for the
past two seasons.
McInelly also was an assistant coach at Weber State University, Pacific and Montana State.
