1
Survivor or Friends?
Friends, because I like to laugh.
2
Lisa Leslie or Sheryl Swoopes?
I am not sure because I have not been able to follow the WNBA that much. In the summer I usually go home.
3
Bionic Woman or Wonder Woman?
I have never watched either, so I would have to go with Spiderman.
4
Madonna or Britney Spears?
Madonna. At least she has some cloth on from time to time. Also, I think that she has done an amazing job changing her style according to the changes in the different decades.
5
Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez or actress/singer Brandy?
Brandy, because I love the Cinderella musical she was in.
6
Harry Potter or Star Wars?
They both are great. I am big of fiction stories, fairy tales and science fiction. But nothing can beat Lord of the Rings!
7
What's your favorite basketball movie?
Hmmm. I don't have one. I am a big movie person, but my favorites are not sports movies.
8
What's your favorite movie and TV show?
Ever After and Silence of the Lambs (I know, quite a contrast); 3rd Rock From the Sun, Suddenly Susan and Spin City.
9
What's the one song that gets you pumped up before a game?
Vlastovka by Vlasta Redl.
10
When you were younger, what was your parents' favorite saying?
CO NEMAS V HLAVE MUSIS MIT V NOHACH ("What you do not have in your head you have got to have in your legs," meaning when you do not remember to take or do something, then you better have the energy to run back for it or return to it.).
11
What's your favorite line from a movie or song?
"Hmmm ... Did you get that memo?" from Office Space.
12
If you could be any super hero or cartoon character, who would you be?
Spiderman, of course. When we moved to Germany (I was 13 then), my brother's and mine experience of TV made a big loop -- in the Czech Republic we were very limited to only a few channels and all of a sudden we could cruise through so many. The first cartoon we saw there was He-Man and the second Spiderman. I have liked him ever since.
13
Did you watch cartoons while growing up, and if so, which one was your favorite?
We did not have cartoons as you know them. We only had a few that were made in the Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia then). The Disney Duck Tales and Chip 'N Dale did not come until I was in the fifth or sixth grade. But my favorite of the Czech cartoons was "Krtecek" (Mole) and "Vila Amalka" (Fairy Amalka).
14
What's your favorite cereal and what's your typical breakfast?
Banana Nut Crunch or Cranberry Almond Crunch from Post. Although I often have a bagel, I have a different breakfast every day, depending on the day of the week.
15
What's your favorite pre-game meal?
Eating at Outback Steakhouse or Amerigo's (Italian).
16
Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions?
No. I just wear a small band around my left ankle. It is from my fiancé. He is in the Marine Corps and he wore it while he was at officer candidate school.
17
Why do you wear No. 13?
My dad wore it. He always said that he wanted to show people that there was nothing unlucky about the number. I actually wanted No. 5 first (it was my mom's number and the first I ever had), but it was taken when I got here.
18
Who's the one person -- male or female -- you'd most want to play one-on-one?
I do not know. I don't like playing one-on-one much. I like having at least a second person around.
19
Who's the one person you look up to?
My parents. They have done a lot to give my brother and me some great opportunities to grow and succeed. Without their guidance, understanding and support, I would not be here today answering this questionnaire.
20
How has Sept. 11 changed your life or way of thinking?
I feel as though I have become much more aware of what is really important to me. It is pushing me to enjoy every day much more because one can never know what will happen next. I have made sure that everyone who matters to me knows that I love them, and I do a much better job of reminding them again and again.
