Report: Chris Snee cleared to practice

New York Giants right guard Chris Snee passed his baseline concussion tests Tuesday and can return to practice, a source told The (Newark) Star-Ledger.

Snee suffered the concussion in Week 5 against Seattle, which caused him to miss the Giants' 27-24 victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. He said after the game that he expects to play on Oct. 30 against Miami following the Giants' Week 7 bye.

"I better be," Snee said. "I can't take another game watching (from the sideline)."

Backup Kevin Boothe started in Snee's place. Prior to missing Sunday's game, Snee had started 101 consecutive regular-season games. It was his first game missed since 2004.
