Rams' general manager Les Snead's decision to give up a 2016 fifth round pick to acquire Clemson offensive tackle Isaiah Battle in the supplemental draft may surprise people considering the red flags associated with Battle and the fact that Snead and the Rams drafted four offensive linemen in May. But Battle has the upside of a potential starter, and perhaps not too far down the road.
