Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Kawann Short had 11 sacks during the regular season and two more during the club's playoff run. He consistently jumps off the tape because of his ability to disrupt the line of scrimmage.

However, playing on a defense headlined by Luke Kuechly, Thomas Davis and Josh Norman, the third-year stud out of Purdue can be overlooked because of the big-name talent around him.
